For HR, reward & wellbeing teams

Financial wellbeing that isn't another webinar.

BudgetUp teaches your people how payslips, tax codes, pensions, borrowing and scams work, five minutes at a time, with a cast of characters who make the mistakes for them. No products, no sales pitch, and nothing shared with you by name.

On a warehouse break, a worker in a hi-vis vest checks his payslip on his phone as a colleague points helpfully at the screen and Chip the hamster inspects it with a magnifying glassEarly access

Money worry doesn't clock off

Most workplace financial wellbeing is a one-off webinar or a provider's product pitch. Engagement is low, and the people who'd benefit most rarely attend.

For every shift, not just the office

Warehouse, care, retail and office teams can all play on their own phone, on a break or at home with the family.

In a hospital staff room, a nurse, a care worker and a porter play a quick money quiz on their phones over tea, with Mo cheering them on and Chip the hamster on the biscuit tin
Five minutes on a break
A young family sorts the post into three tidy piles at their kitchen table, a phone showing a simple bar chart, while their daughter adds a sticker and Chip the hamster proudly holds up an envelope
Getting on top of the bills, together
Three generations of a family squeeze onto a sofa, laughing and cheering at a money game on one phone, as Mo throws up his hands at losing a round, Nana sips tea and Chip the hamster bounces on a cushion
Something the whole household can play

How it works at work

  1. Share a code

One code for your organisation. Staff sign up with any email, and nothing links to HR records.

  2. Five minutes, any phone

Payslips, tax codes, pensions, student loan repayments, credit and scams, using real 2026/27 UK figures.

  3. Aggregate results

Engagement and confidence change for the organisation as a whole. Nothing is shown by name.

What you get

We label everything honestly. "Available now" means it's built, tested and ready for a pilot today. "Rolling out" means it's in build for 2026/27; "on the roadmap" means later. Neither is promised as a day-one feature.

Evidence, not page views

Measured like any L&D programme

We map outcomes to the Kirkpatrick levels L&D teams already use, and report them only in aggregate.

Kirkpatrick-style outcomes report

On the roadmap
  • L1 Reaction: in-app ratings
  • L2 Learning: knowledge and topic mastery
  • L3 Behaviour: self-reported budgeting and saving, and signposts used
  • L4 Results: your own KPIs, joined on your side
  • No names, emails or individual survey answers shared with the employer

Pilot offer

Talk to us about a pilot

Tell us a little about you. We'll come back with a 20-minute demo slot and a pilot outline. No sales sequence, promise.

Questions buyers ask

Will you see or share our employees' data?

Never by name. You see engagement in aggregate and a pseudonymous progress list with no names or emails. Survey answers are only ever reported in aggregate, with groups under 10 suppressed.

Is it regulated advice?

No. It's general education about how money works. We don't recommend products and aren't authorised by the FCA. For personal guidance we signpost MoneyHelper and other free, impartial services.

Can we sponsor or brand it?

Yes: your logo and colour can sit alongside ours, but no sponsor or product ever appears inside the learning content. That's part of how we stay on the right side of financial promotion rules.

Doing due diligence? Our trust centre has hosting, sub-processors, accessibility and security details.
